Can allergies give you flu- or cold-like symptoms? also, should taking mucinex (guaifenesin) cold, advil, zyrtec, and emergen-c all together help?

It's possible: Sinus allergies can mimic a "cold ". Try only one medicine at a time. Start with Claritin (loratadine) d or Allegra d , plus rest and liquids . Most allergy and cold symptoms should get better in 4-5 days.
