Hemorrhoid on anus for 3 years. bleeds occasionally. now constipated and saw a small amount of bright blood on tp and little on bowel. possible causes?

Why not hemorrhoid?: In your case, you know it is there, you know what it does. Constipation causes enlargement and irritation of hemorrhoids, so it is highly likely that small blood on tp, or even few drips into toilet after bm is from it. If quantity increases, consider having check by your dr. If relief in past w/tucks or hemorrhoid cream, consider trial use early. Increase fiber in diet ; fluids to soften stool.

Most likely: Bleeding of the external hemorrhoid..Due to the hard stool.
