I had rubber band litigation for an internal hemorrhoid. the bleeding stopped but today a week later i had a little blood with a bowel movement. is this normal?

Banding: If the blood was bright red and not mixed in the stool it's possible that there's another hemorrhoid or that the banded site broke open or fell off. Some bleeding can occur 7-10 days after banding of an internal hemorrhoid. Keep stools soft and hydrated. If bleeding persists or worsens, see the physician who performed your ligation for evaluation.
