Banding: If the blood was bright red and not mixed in the stool it's possible that there's another hemorrhoid or that the banded site broke open or fell off. Some bleeding can occur 7-10 days after banding of an internal hemorrhoid. Keep stools soft and hydrated. If bleeding persists or worsens, see the physician who performed your ligation for evaluation.
