None with out exam: Any ano rectal problems should not self treat with out doctor exam as it possible to miss cancer , treating it as hemorrhoids. See your doctor first.

Bed rest: And alternate ice pack with warm tub soaks. If just swollen should go down in 24-48 hrs. If thrombosed or clotted, may benefit from office surgery to remove the clot and hence the swelling and pain.
