A member asked:

Always a sensation of mucus dripping from nose to throat.no sore throat as such , no blocked nose either.suffering from 8 months.any suggestions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Post nasal drip: Uris, allergies, sinusitis, foreign body in nose, pregnancy, medications, deviated septum or another anatomical problem, changing weather, cold temps, or dry air, spicy foods, fumes from chemicals, perfumes, cleaning products, smoke, or other irritants can all cause thickening and persistent mucous discharge. Think about this and try figuring out cause, or see an ENT doctor.
