Growing pains !: As the baby grows, the uterus grows and expands to allow for appropriate growth and development of the baby. The uterus is a muscular organ that contracts and cramps frequently during pregnancy. Cramping is normal as long as it does not lead to bleeding or cervical change. If you experience severe cramping, call your doctor and get checked.
