Genetic: Drops placed in the eye pass into the nose through a plumbing set starting on the inside corner of the eyelid. If you have a genetic ability to taste the eyedrops components, this is how it gets to the smell sensors. Most do not have this and so these kind of drops are not smelled or tasted. Consider yourself above average in taste and smell.

There can be a : Connection between the eyes and your sinuses that allowed a very little of your eye medication to be tasted. This should go away very soon. If it lastsire than a day, contact your eye doctor and explain.
