How high is fever?: If the baby's temp is persistently greater than 102 despite Acetaminophen or if she appears listless, she should be evaluated in the office or in the e.D./urgent care ctr. If there is any evidence of seizure activity she should be taken emergently to the hospital. If there is an area of localized redness where the vaccine was administered, she should also be seen in the next 24- 48 hours.
