Blood pH: Normal arterial blood ph is 7.40, with a range of about 7.36-7.44. Blood ph depends on carbon dioxide (co2) concentration and bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) (hco3) concentration. Because there is more co2 in venous blood, ph of venous blood is slightly lower, around 7.38. Hope this helps.
