A member asked:

Wat is the normal temp for the human body?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some basics: Most published standards reflect the "core" temperature, or that which would be found by a probe in the anus or bloodstream. Oral & armpit readings can be lower depending on technique. The body also cycles higher in the afternoon (activity) and lower early morning (sleep). 97.7F (36.5C) to 99.5F (37.5) are norms. Most physicians do not consider it fever unless >100.4F (38C)
