Medium concern: Ovarian cysts in postmenopausal women are not uncommon. If any cyst (regardless of age) has complex features, then it requires further evaluation. The followup depends on the level of complexity and will vary from a followup scan in a couple of months or going ahead with surgery to remove the cyst.
