A member asked:

I was told that my mirena (levonorgestrel) is sideways in my uterus...can this be causing my lower back pain? and could it affect my bowels as far as being constipate

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs removal: If your iud is not in the correct position, it will likely cause pain and cramping that can be felt as low back pain. This iud needs to be removed!
