? Temporal Arteritis: Most common causes of pain in a localized temporal region could be TMJ or temporal arteritis, but many other causes are possible. Any headache for me is serious and needs immediate attention until we know the cause. Most can be treated. Best is to see your doctor to examine you and may be order some tests.
