Anxiety and pain: Are related. Once your doc has given you an understanding of the source of your pain, a clinical psychologist or other mh professional can teach you strategies to manage it. That might be self-hypnosis, meditation, breathing, cognitive therapy, etc. Peace and good health.

Yes anxiety does: Increase pain sensitivity. I agree with dr self and would encourage you to learn some relaxation techniques or hypnosis to reduce anxiety and pain.
