Any, all or other: There are many possibilities. It could be any one of those causes individually or a combination, or even something else. In order to determine the cause of your symptoms, you need to see a dentist for a personal one on one clinical exam and some x-rays. In addition, your dentist might have to refer you to your physician for a medical evaluation.

Acute sinusitis: Often the cause of a toothache or tooth sensitivity isn't a tooth problem, but a sinus problem. Antibiotics used to treat acute sinusitis will eliminate cheek pressure and tooth sensitivity. See your dentist or ENT for proper diagnosis and treatment.
