Possibilities....: Sometimes, after an episode of acute bronchitis, the cough can persist due to bronchospasm. To treat this, a bronchodilator inhaler as well as a steroid inhaler may be needed. Other possible causes of your cough include gerd or post-nasal drip, both of which have different treatments so if the cough is not resolving, see your doctor for further evaluation/treatment.
