Adenocarcinoma: Patient needs to understand that survival with endometrial cancer depends upon cancer stage. She may be a candidate for chemo-, radiation therapy or both. Would strongly advise 2nd opinion by a gyn oncologist. Some doctors do not feel that surgical stagaing is necessary for stage 1 grade 1 uterine cancer. Any decision regarding further surgery is up to the patient after getting 2nd opinion.
