My brother is having type 2 diabetes with glucose level on fasting being 283 .Will the glucose levels control with medicine or need for insulin.

Many options: There are many options which may be used to treat type 2 diabetes incuding metformin, insulin, glp-1 ras, sglt inhibitors and many others. The fasting glucose levels should be 85-110 and 2 hour post meal levels beliw 180.
