Depends: Usually burning skin sensations are due to nerves or is nerve pain. Best to see your doctor to see whether you have any peripheral nerve damage.

No but: Some suggest that hydroxyzine, an antihistamine, may reduce anxiety even though I have seen this in my own patients. Thus if this works, it will not be due to the antihistaminic effect.
