Sure it's not meds?: Advil (ibuprofen) and Ibuprofen are known to cause gastritis, especially on an empty stomach. This can make one feel nauseous, and also lead to diarrhea too. If you've not been taking either of those two otc products, then this is less likely. In any case you should probably see your doctor who can do an physical, abdominal examination and check into this further to determine the cause.
