Are two cases of prolonged hiccups (lasting 2 plus days) something to be concerned about? latest preceded by stomach upset (mild diarrhea, etc.). scrip provided by walk in clinic stopped them.

Sometimes: Prolonged hiccups can mean an inflammation of the diaphragm, or something going on with the organs immediately under it--liver, gallbladder, pancreas, stomach etc... If diarrhea happens after eating fatty meals and you still have your gallbladder, i'd rule that out first! abdominal ultrasound first. Avoid fatty/fried foods until you find out!
