Would look: At medication list and be certain she is not taking more than or less than prescribed. Mineral depletion is way too vague and not likely nor worth considering. Senile dementia and alheimers disease are more common and common things happen commonly. Be sure to look at her meds and discuss with her doctor.

Needs NEROPSYCHATRIC: Without knowing her age and other history like if she is taking any prescription drugs.Past history of any significant medical/psychiatric condition. She needs a thorogh neuropsychiatric examination/evaluation. So consult your doctor or a neurologist/psychiatrist.
