Dehydration risk...: Abdominal pain is never normal, ; excruciating pain even less so. Lots of things cause lower abdominal pain, ; not all of them are due to the gut--see earlier healthtap answers. When pain is as severe ; persistent as you report, don't delay in seeking evaluation ; getting treated, please.
