Hematoma : This is likely just a hematoma. I assume you had your blood drawn from the bend in the elbow, known as the antecubital space. On occasion, there will be some blood that escapes from the puncture site, sometimes visible, sometime not. It will take a few days to a week for the bruise to diminish and as the blood clot breaks down, you will see discoloration around the elbow. Heat may help.
