Depends on who: You ask, but chronic appendicitis does not occur or is extremely rare and unlikely. Appendicitis is progressively worsening infection with increasing right lower abdominal pain over 24-48 hours with nausea and loss of appetite. See a surgeon or go to an er for evaluation if you are getting worse problems.
