A member asked:

I have a subareolar abscess that isn't healing. 6 weeks. 2 courses of keflex. is there a way to get it healed instead of surgically removing the ducts?

Drainage: You can't cure an abscess with just antibiotics. Drainage will be necessary, either by incision and drainage, or, in some cases, percutaneous aspiration. Again, drainage is necessary to resolve an abscess. Good luck.
