Totally different: Aerius is antihistamine. Griseofulvin is an old med for treating fungus infections, not used much anymore.

Different meds: Aerius (desloratadine), is an antihistamine. Loratadine (claritin) breads down in the body to desloratidine. A few years after Loratadine was introduces, desloratidine was developed as a separate medication. Griseofulvin treats infections of the skin caused by funngi.
