Took aerius on a relatively empty stomach. is this the reason i couldn't sleep properly and felt slightly weird?

Possible not likely.: This is not an expected side effect of the non sedating antihistamines, but anything is possible.

More likely the med: Any antihistamine can make some people feel strange. They can feel jittery or have insomnia. I would recommend a different antihistamine, and avoid the ones that also have a decongestant.

Side effect from Aer: It is a side effect of most antihistamines and it may have nothing to do with you taking it on empty stomach
