I know honey isn't safe for my infant, so i'm wondering, is it ok for him to have a wooden teething toy with a beeswax polish on it?

No: Botulism spores can be in the wax as well as the honey.

Pacifier: I would not give the baby the wood pacifier with that varnish on it, but look for a ortho approved pacifier.

Teething toy OK: Bees wax has no sugar. Honey does and can cause caries.
