What could be the cause of a bad smell from an infant age 5-6 month and what to do when he starts teething ?

? reflux: You don't say in your question where the odor is, but from your further question about teething, I'll assume the odor is from the mouth. At that age the cause is not going to be from poor dental care, as baby wouldn't have teeth yet. This leaves gastroesophageal reflux as the most likely cause. Talk to your pediatrician about how to diagnose and treat this condition in an infant.
