Why can't i wear heels and wedges without my feet hurting?

Pressure: When you raise the heel it puts more pressure on the ball of the foot and may be causing nerve pain or metatarsalgia, bone pain.

Ruff for the feet: Wedges and heels put your foot in an unnatural position in gait. The ball of your foot takes on great force when wearing such shoes. It is more natural to come down on your heel in gait. Such shoes are definitely for style and not comfort.
