Not usually: The less sucking from the baby the less milk you will make and whe baby stops sucking, your milk production will cease. Your breast will likely be engorged and sore for few days, but motrin, some icing etc..Can help ease the discomfort. Mildly elevation of prolactin at baseline should not affect this process.
