A member asked:

Would an indoor wood burner that is totally enclosed hurt an asthmatic child?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Asthma: No, I do not think it would. Assuming all the fumes and smoke are being exhasted through the chimney, they should not be able to be inhaled from the room and thus, pose no irritant effect for the asthmatic child.
