In general...: Testosterone therapies are usually adjunctive, meaning that they support the bodies natural production of testosterone. That means that the body never stopped producing testosterone, rather just did not produce enough of it.

Testicular function: Many people are getting testosterone therapy that do not need it. When you stop the drug, it will take several months for your testes to fully come back on line, assuming your pituitary - testicular function is normal.
