Yes it does!: Lots of people live not knowing they have 1. Also if some1 has pain and 1 is found, pain attributed to it. Surgery doesn't always helpi have patients who got rid of even foot drops with yoga and or rehab. Pain is just your body telling you you are doing something wrong, and at that point it is often reversible if you listen. Yes it cd go away, but what you really need is have it silent.

Possibly: Epidural injections do not "fix" a disc herniation. The steroids decrease the inflammation on the nerve roots they are close to thus deceasing the pain. The pain. Some small herniations or bulges may improve over time. You are feeling pain in your ankle because the nerve which supplies the ankle is being affected by the l5-s1 disc sending pain messages to the brain which "sees" it as the ankle.
