Possible hives: Without seeing the rash, it sounds like you are having a hive reaction while showering. This could be a form of physical urticaria, where a physical trigger like heat or cold causes the hives to appear. The most common is dermatographism, where pressure on the skin results in hives. These are usually linear in appearance and transient. Contact with water (aquagenic urticaria) is a rare trigger.
