Fruits and veggie...: You do not state the age of the child, but generally speaking, increase water intake, poor water intake is a common cause of constipation, make sure you limit milk to 2 to 3 cups a day if over 2 years old, avoid processed foods, add oatmeal mixed with fruit. Some veggies and fruits constipate, banana, apple, carrots. Rice. Easy way to remember is any fruit that starts with "p" makes you go.
