Miralax (polyethylene glycol): Miralax (polyethylene glycol) is an excellent and safe treatment for children. 1/2 cap full of the powder added to water or juice every day will get his/her bowels back on track. He or she should have one soft bm daily. Soft like oatmeal is preferable to formed stool.
