If a person who is not iron deficient is given an injection of iron, the saturation will rise and then fall without improving health. How was this clinical option selected? If you are iron deficient, why? Heavy periods? Loss from vegetarian diet? Do you have a bleeding ulcer or stomach / bowel lesion?
