Orthotic archsupport: The one way you can overcome arch pain is by wearing the proper orthotic arch supports. The key is 'proper' and not one where you stand on a in store scanner. See your podiatrist to properly be fitting for either a good premade orthotic or a custom molded orthotic. It's not the only way to treat arch pain but it's a good start

Supportive shoes: shoes are very important, shoes have to give that balance between soft and cuffing and hard and supportive. I always recommend my patient to use a tennis shoe with a hard mid-arch and a hard heel shell. The image shoes a shoe that bend at the area of the toes but do not bend at the area of the arch.
