Blepharoplasty?: I am guessing you had eyelid surgery. The following refers to that (as incisions on the eye generally cannot be seen). If so you had some skin removed and the upper lid elevated. This opens the eye a little more and alters the tear distribution. The redness is from dryness. Get some over the counter lubricating drops and use them regularly until the eye surface adapts.
