Sounds nerve origin: Possibly carpal tunnel or cubital tunnel syndrome, and worthwhile to get assessed. Left arm can sometimes get referred symptoms when heart issues present, but at your age, i doubt this is an issue.

Carpal tunnel: This may be carpal tunnel syndrome which often firsts presents as numbness and tingling in lower arm, wrist and hands at night and early morning due to wrist flexion at night. If it is not closer to wrist, it may be either a brachial plexus or cervical nerve root issue. Any trauma? Disc problems in neck? May need an EMG to figure it out, as well as a physical exam. Consider cts stretches and brace.
