Treadmill: The best way to know how much you are burning is to turn on the calorie burning mode on the treadmill. Unfortunately, your heart rate is a variable and at any given moment you lose an x amount of calories but it's dependent on your heart rate, so it's impossible to tell how much you will lose without having the calorie burning mode on which is part of most newer treadmills.
