Needs evaluation: Lumps, bumps, blisters and other skin abnormalities on the genitals need to be evaluated. An examination will be needed to know the cause and treatment. Genital herpes, syphilis and warts are possible causes.

Bumps: There are a couple of ideas. It could be a condyloma which is from hpv. It could be a cyst or blocked pore. If it's actually originating from the vagina it would be a Bartholin's gland cyst. You mentioned itching, itching most typically is associated with the yeast infection. It sounds like your friend should see a doctor and have this lesion checked out.
