I had 3 to 4 blood clots in lungs and hospital did a test to see why i had them fibringen antithrombin iii protein c protein c antigen all high?

Not the cause of PE: Pulmonary embolism (pe) is an abnormal clot. Your docs are looking for cause. Fibrinogen is an acute phase reactant and is not likely a cause of your clot. Low protein c and low at-iii can contribute to pe; however your values are high and therefore did not contribute to your pe. I am sure your docs are looking for other causes. Good luck.
