Middle ear muscles: A fluttering noise in the ear most commonly represents spontaneous muscle spasm of one of the two middle ear muscles. This is like spontaneous eyelid spasm. Muscle relaxants may help. These symptoms usually disappear in a short period of time. If there is no hearing loss associated with these symptoms, i would recommend patience. If not gone in a month see anent doctor.
