Tinnitus : This is the perception of noise in the ear. The fluttering can be from tiny muscles of the middle ear, either the stapedial muscle or tensor tympani muscle, going into spasm, similar to the eyelid flickering that many people experience. You do need to see an ENT doctor to fully evaluate this. It probably will stop but really need to see md check you out.
