Is he better?: They cry to oxygenate and to let you know they are hungry. If you are breast feeding, have him skin to skin on your chest- that can calm him. Also breast feed often- every 30 minutes to an hour for 1-2 minutes. Short frequent suckling brings your milk in faster and then he will be more satisfied once he is getting full from eating.
