If your child has pink eye, what should you do or watch out for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most pink eye...: .. isn't serious, doesn't harm the eye, and clears in a few days. However, sometimes pink eye can get worse, or be a sign of something serious. See the doctor urgently if: - Child develops severe eye pain, or pain w eye movement. - High fevers or vomiting. - Light starts to hurt the eyes. - Spots/blisters develop on the skin next to the eye. - Vision becomes affected. - If the child is a newborn.
