can a embryo hide behind a yolk sac?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Timothy Brown
43 years experience Obstetrics and Gynecology
In a sense: The yolk sac is visible before the embryo grows large enough to be seen. As the fetus then grows the yolk sac will disappear. It is more a matter of timing than anything being hidden.
